NEGATIVA

O negativo do past perfect é formado pela partícula “not” na frase (forma contraída: hadn’t)

Exemplos:

• I had not (hadn’t) read his book last week. (Eu não tinha lido o livro dele semana passada)
• You had not (hadn’t) danced before the end of the game. (Você não tinha dançado antes do final do jogo)

INTERROGATIVA

A interrogativa do past perfect é formado pela alteração de posição do verbo “to have” (had) na frase, ficando posicionado antes do sujeito.

Exemplos:

• Had they finished your work last month? (Eles tinham acabado o trabalho deles mês passado?)
• Had he slept before the game starts? (Ele tinha dormido antes do jogo começar?)
